"It is a miracle if you can find true friends, and it is a miracle if you have enough food to eat, and it is a miracle if you get to spend your days and evenings doing whatever it is you like to do, and the holiday season—like all the other seasons—is a good time not only to tell stories of miracles, but to think about the miracles in your own life, and to be grateful for them." —Lemony Snicket, The Lump of Coal

True friends are indeed a miracle and a gift. Oddly enough, I've made one or two through the web. The best possible true friends.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful 2013!
Bonne Année a toi aussi avec QUE des bonne choses pour 2013!
DeleteVery, very, very true. I could not have gotten to where I am, stay where I am, be the person that I am - without my amazing, wonderful, generous friends & family. At the end of the day, they are all that really matter. (And giving other people the opportunity to enjoy and cherish their own friends & family as well - whatever that requires.)
